Stimulus Package
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) entitles medical providers to receive up to $44,000 so long as they demonstrate a “Meaningful Use” of a Electronic Health Record.
Additionally, medical providers may also be entitled to increased Medicare reimbursements by implementing e-Prescription in their practice.
The time to act is now. To take full advantage of the stimulus package, We can help you assess your practice, propose required changes and help to implement your EHR system.
What is Stimulus Package?
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 sets appropriations to revitalize the American economy and provides capital funding for the next generation of medical technology. As such, medical providers will be paid incentives for “Meaningful Use” of Electronic Health Record (EHR) programs before 2015. Beginning in 2015, doctors will be penalized in the form of reduced Medicare payments. According to the incentive payment schedule below, medical providers are urged to fully implement EHR technology as soon as possible.
